John David Washington (born July 28, 1984 in Toluca Lake, California) is an American football running back on the practice squad of the St. Louis Rams of the NFL. He attended Morehouse College.
Washington is the son of Academy Award winning actor Denzel Washington. He was signed by the Rams on May 1, 2006 as an undrafted free agent, but was released by the Rams on August 31, 2007. Three days later, the Rams re-signed him to their practice squad.
